How to cope with breakups in a relationship

Usually breakups are hard to cope with after the separation in a relationship; the aftermath is always awful and hurtful, most people become withdrawn and try to lick their wounds and deal with it without external help and act as if all is well. This major act could feel bold but it’s actually killing, because gradually the feeling of hatred eats you up and finally you burst in anger losing your senses. There are easier ways to deal with breakups, they are:

  1.        Accept the situations of things at the moment, this helps determine where you are heading to next.
  2.        Avoid getting angry, don’t let your anger consume you; it stops you from having a clear mind to think or act sensibly.
  3.        Before you try and patch things up between you two, be absolutely sure both of you are interested in making the relationship work.
  4.        Go out, be open minded and meet new people who would treat you good, this helps with your morale and self esteem.
  5.        Try and avoid depression in all ways possible, hang out with close friends and relatives who understand you and also care a lot.
